Dear Friends,
I am seeking to represent you in the 43rd district this upcoming year in the New York State Senate.
Whether we live in the county of Columbia, Rensselaer, Saratoga, or Washington, we all need and deserve strong, independent leaders who will fairly represent us by listening, asking tough questions and working towards real solutions.
For the past three years, I have been the Town Supervisor of Claverack in the center of Columbia County. In this role, I have used my experience as a budget and planning consultant to bring fiscal responsibility to both the town and county. My focus has been to improve the short and long term health of our community, through jobs, legislation and empowering others. This is what I want to bring to the people of the 43rd.
Being accessible to you is where it starts. As the first elected Democrat in 35 years in a town that is dominated by the Republican Party, my successes have come in large part from my ability to take very different points of view and find a consensus that benefits everyone. I want to use these skills to find common sense solutions to the toughest problems facing our communities.
In the coming months, I look forward to meeting more of you, hearing your concerns and sharing my energy and commitment to representing you. I look forward to bringing our ideas together to make our communities truly flourish.
I hope to meet you soon. Please also feel free to let me know your thoughts by emailing me at robin@robinandrews.org. I appreciate the time and effort you are taking in reviewing this website to consider your vote for State Senate. I hope you will find me worthy of your support, so that I may bring your message to Albany.
Sincerely,
Robin Andrews
